INTERROGATE – in post production
In this film written and directed by Kamary Phillips, the lovely and talented Los Angeles-based Actress Carolyn Christian teams up with Kamary as they portray one from a string of undercover interrogations, hosted in March 1968 by the infamous Black Panthers, in a widespread effort to protect Martin Luther King just weeks before MLK was assassinated.
Mrs. Christian plays socialite Irene Worthington, a Paris Hilton-like persona of her time who after flirting with the wrong man, was later drugged and kidnapped for questioning by the Los Angeles Black Panthers while attending an underground, Gay & Lesbian party in the late 60′s.
Upon awakening, Irene is led to believe several days have passed and she’s held captive at a remote military facility, when in fact only hours have gone by and she’s in a secret lair near the lavish Mansion and raging party she attended. Her friends think she had too much to drink and was taken home.
Special Agent from the Black Panthers, Carl Banks played by Kamary Phillips, has the misfortune of interviewing the emotional and innocent Irene who, in a short amount of time, manages to touch the heart of this hardened, violent and duty-sworn Political Activist.
